Why does it matter that you don't use these ingredients?

We've chosen not to use these ingredients because they have high potential to cause irritation to the skin and have been controversial in health research. We want to be as sure as possible that we are providing our customers with the safest possible ingredients for their skin and for our planet.

When do I use the product?

For best results, we recommend that you use your Stages of Beauty Treatment Cream twice a day — in the morning after cleansing and in the evening before you go to bed.

Can I use it with makeup?

Of course! Many of the women who have used our products say that the treatment cream helps their makeup stay fresh-looking for longer! Just make sure you apply the treatment cream underneath your makeup.

Can I use my Stages of Beauty products with an SPF?

Of course! We highly recommend all women use an SPF. Layer over your treatment cream if you would like to use an SPF.

Why do the directions say "use with SPF"?

The directions recommend to use with SPF because we believe that all women should use an SPF product daily! Sun protection is especially important and is a primary cause of the appearance of aging. It causes damage to our skin, discoloration, and the promotes the degradation of our collagen and elastin.

Can I use these creams on my neck?

Of course! In fact, we recommend that you use these products on your neck if you are not already using a neck cream. In addition to our faces, our necks and our hands are often easy ways that we give-away our true age.

Can I use these creams around my eyes?

Sure! Stages of Beauty Treatment Creams are formulated for the sensitive tissue around our eyes as well.

I have oily/problem skin - will your Treatment Creams make me break out?

No! Our products will not clog your pores. They are formulated to ensure that your skin's natural moisture barrier is balanced and functioning correctly.

Can I use your Treatment Creams on other places on my body besides my face? (e.g. hands)

Of course! There is no reason not to!

How long will it take to see results?

As with most skin creams, continued and consistent use is best. For best results, use your Stages of Beauty products twice a day for at least 12 weeks.

Why doesn't your product have SPF?

Our product doesn't have SPF because the beautiful texture of our Treatment Cream would have been lost and our products would no longer be fragrance-free. Also, we wanted to create a product that women could use both day and night. But don't worry, (age-specific) Stages of Beauty SPF creams and night creams are in the works for the future!

Will your creams be hydrating enough for me? What if I have really dry skin?

Most women who use our product, even those with dry skin, say that their treatment cream provides just the right amount of hydration, leaving their skin balanced, not dry or tight. As we age, the level of hydration our skin needs typically increases. If you are getting close to turning 30/40/50, it might be time to try the product in the next age category. Products in the next age category are guaranteed to provide more hydration for your skin.

Is the product tested on animals?

No! Stages of Beauty is opposed to animal-testing and does not test any of our products on animals.

Do your products have Parabens?

Can I use it with my medicated creams (e.g. Rosacea creams)?

Sure. There should be no reaction between the Stages of Beauty Treatment Creams the medicated creams you are currently using. Of course, if you do see a reaction, stop use and continue with your medicated cream. Always ask your doctor or dermatologist if you have specific questions concerning medical interactions.

How long does it take to receive an order?

Stages of Beauty products are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail (based on the size of your order) the day after you order and should be on your doorstep 1 to 5 business days later. Orders placed on Friday-Sunday are shipped on the following Monday.
